G. Brown represents the next generation of the DJ. Equal parts skill, music selection and hustle, he has set the bar for other DJ’s to follow. His unique style has earned him accolades both domestically and internationally, having rocked parties in more than 25 countries worldwide. Yet despite his world-renown name, G. Brown remains true to his roots as a New York DJ, with rotations and residencies at local celebrity hotspots Mr. West, Tenjune, Upstairs, Gold Bar, The Eldridge, Butter, Marquee and Pink Elephant (Hamptons).

 

Influenced by legends like Kid Capri and Jazzy Jeff, the Boston-born DJ began his career while attending the University of Miami. Through hard work and dedication, he has constantly evolved his skills and the art of DJing. His mission: to make every G. Brown party not just a celebration, but an experience, no matter the occasion.

 

DJ G. Brown consistently blazes new trails by refining a one-of-a-kind style that has afforded him the opportunity to work with numerous legendary hip-hop artists like Timbaland, Outkast, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface and Mobb Deep. His swagger, creativity, passion and energy flows from his fingertips, attracting an A-list audience, which have included the likes of Diddy, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lindsay Lohan, Bono, Britney Spears, Mick Jagger, Justin Timberlake and many more.

 

Globally, DJ G. Brown has moved over 300,000 mixtapes: a direct result of skill, work ethic, and streetwise sensibility. New York Magazine agrees, ranking G. Brown’s Notorious B.I.G. tribute “March 9” (a collaboration with DJ J.Period), as one of the “Top Hip-Hop Mixtapes of 2007.” Justo’s Annual Mixtape Awards have reinforced DJ G Brown’s status as a top mixtape and club DJ, with its numerous nominations over the years.

 

DJ G. Brown’s diverse résumé complements his wide-ranging playlists, which seamlessly flow from Hip-Hop, House, Electro, Rock, Classic Soul and Reggae, to R&B, Miami Bass and Brazillian Baile Funky. He has mastered the art of blending the old with the new to strike a perfect balance that keeps dance floors packed.
